My name Angie. My husband George and I have been together since grade 9 and we have 3 children.
Since I was a little girl I have had a passion for teaching and caring for young children. I was always trying to be a mother to my little sister, so Early Childhood Education made perfect sense! I started doing in-home daycare right after graduation which led to working in centres, becoming a centre supervisor, and finally a co owner of Seeds to Sprouts Childcare with my mother “Daycare Grandma”. When not at Seeds I love to spend time with my family , craft and tend to our hobby farm.
My name is Merriam. I have been married to Dan for 42 years. We have two daughters we are very proud of. I was a military wife, many moves, and wonderful experiences. My three grandchildren bring great joy to my life. They grew up in the Seeds Family and now are an asset to our success. I love summer. A lot of our activities involve the grandchildren, walking, swimming, camping and of course playing with our dog Charly.
Thank you everyone for your dedication, hard work, and devotion to the children.!
My name is Zac. I am the supervisor of the centre here at Seeds to Sprouts. I have been a Registered Early Childhood Educator since 2016, and started at Seeds shortly thereafter! When I am not working, my wife Katie and I spend time with our 4 children (Aubree, Olivia, Brynn and Beckham), our dogs (Marley and Thor) and our two cats (Archie and Beau). When I can escape from the craziness of our home, I like to golf and play video games.
My name is Katie. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator working as the Pedagogical Lead/Assistant Supervisor at Seeds to Sprouts. You can find me in the office or visiting each of the programs working with the educators to develop and implement quality care.
Prior to joining the childcare field, I worked for 12 years as a Pharmacy Technician. My passion for helping people is what guided the change in my career path to childcare. It is extremely rewarding to teach children lifelong skills that are important to their growth and development. Outside of the centre, I am a busy mom of four, an avid gym-goer, and a book lover.
My name is Courtney. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator working in the preschool program. I graduated from the ECE program in 2004 and have been working at Seeds to Sprouts since 2019. I grew up in a military family which caused us to move around quite a bit!
My husband and I have been married for 16 years and have 3 children and a dog together; Ethan, Sadie, Landon, and Harley. I have always loved working with children and being able to see them grow each day. It's a rewarding feeling being able to follow a child's development and flourish under your care. On my time off, my family and I enjoy camping and spending time together.
My name is Alicia. I’m a single mom of two – a teenager and a pre-teen.
In my spare time I’m usually found on the soccer field or in the hockey arena supporting my kids in their passions. I’ve been a Registered Early Childhood Educator for 17 years. In those years I’ve worked in a few daycares and have been a supply for two Early ON programs. I pursued a career in childcare because I wanted to help children and families grow. Lately I've been focusing on emotional regulation and How Does Learning Happen with all the children in my care. I’m looking to further my career in the next few years. I have a passion for learning more about children and how to best teach them. I have my Self Regulation in Early Childhood Education certificate and I truly believe that children can do well when they are taught how. My main focus as an RECE is to always ask why?
“In self-reg we pause to ask, why am I seeing this behaviour? And why now? Before we react” Dr. Stuart Shanker
Hello, families! My name is Amanda and I teach in the toddler program. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with over ten years of experience in the field.
I pursued a career in childcare, because I found a passion for teaching and celebrating life’s milestones in the everyday little moments to the big moments. I believe that every child needs a family outside of their immediate family and that is what I strive to create for them daily. When I’m not at the daycare, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Lily and Weber. I’ve even taught Lily to retrieve bottles from our fridge! My dogs and running are two major things that fulfil my life outside of my career
My name is Morgan and I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator working in the toddler program. I'm a mama to a baby boy named Brooks, I have four siblings, a dog named Luna and a cat named Lucky. Outside of the centre I enjoy being outdoors with my family, fishing, going for walks and going to my cottage where I spent my whole childhood and hope to do the same with Brooks!
My name is Abby. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator. I have recently gone back to college for business with hopes of one day opening a bakery or glow-in-the-dark mini golf business. My Grandma inspired me to work in childcare. Her passion for teaching inspired me to work with children and help them develop fundamental skills. In my spare time I enjoy going to concerts, hockey games, musicals, and fun adventures with my family!
My name is Deseray and I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator working in the infant program. Growing up my parents fostered many little ones. As the oldest, it is here where I was inspired to care for and understand children. My parents were my inspiration as they set the example with what healthy childcare looks like for all children. I also have a passion to be a support for guardians in parenting. It takes a village! My husband and I have 4 young men (3 graduated, 1 in highschool), so I can relate and empathize with the joys and struggles of parenting. When I'm not at Seeds, I am a chauffeur and loud cheerleader for my sons’ work and sports life. I am currently studying part time and furthering my skills in Counselling Women. Thank you for trusting me with your sweet children!
